Working closely with owners

Helping you actually understand your machine and how it works is a big benefit to you. Sometimes showing you the inside of your airplane and showing you issues that need correction removes doubt and helps keep you safe. If you’re at work we can text you an image of a frayed control cable or show you what a few of your lower plugs look like. When’s the last time your FBO did that?
Never? We thought so.

Helping you comply with airworthiness directives and making sure your logbooks are in order

An airplane is not a Toyota. It has to have proper documentation that certain maintenance things are done. We make sure to do these things, and make sure your records are in order. We want you safe and legal with the FAA. We can do about 90% of routine annuals at your location. We have capabilities that many major FBO’s can’t even do. See it, and believe it. Call us.

The convenience issue

For many owners flying to a service center and dropping off the airplane, and then picking it back up days later is a major hassle. Usually this means two people dropping the airplane off, and then picking it up. Driving and flying. Often owners need to wait for appropriate weather.  Have a retractable? Just try to get your gear swung at most FBO’s. You might have to fly hundreds of miles away from home base just to find a hydraulic mule. Relax. We can swing your gear.

World's most portable hydraulic mule.

Meet the “Supreme Swing”

We have a portable mule and the proper jacks to get your retractable airplane’s gear swung safely at your home airport.

No need to fly around the patch while your mechanic checks your gear with binoculars and guesses if everything’s OK.

To give our owners the best possible service we had to design and manufacture our own portable hydraulic ground power unit. We call it the Supreme Swing (patent pending). You can see it in action in the video.

We bring it (along with everything else we need) to swing your landing gear and diagnose any issues you might have. Have a retractable? High or low wing, we have the jacks and the mule to take care of your airplane at your home base. Fly with confidence.

Contact us for current pricing on 12volt or 110/120AC powered Supreme Swing portable mules. We ship world-wide.

Another happy client

Paul has wrenched on my planes for about 15 years. Did a full top overhaul on my Stinson Voyager (Franklin 150 hp engine) and also did some nice fabric repairs on it. Plus radio work, seat work, fixed a valve train issue, and did close to ten annuals on it.
What many don’t know is he has a shop at his home base. If he can’t fix it on location he’ll take the part home and do it in his shop. What he brings back is a piece of artwork.  Fussy with his work, he’s a restoration type guy.

Superb sheet metal work.

I bought a 210 with an old navomatic autopilot that was inop. Only guy that would look at it was in Oklahoma. Autopilots are a real can of worms. Parts tricky to remove and replace in the wing. I asked Paul if he could take a look at it. He told me to give him a cup of black coffee and come back in an hour. An hour later I had a working wing leveler in a 50 year old C-210. Magical. Jump up and down thrilling.  He took the thing apart, found the mechanical issue, and restored the wing leveler function. Now I can eat a sandwich without playing with the yoke.

Since 2012 he’s been doing the annuals on the Cessna 210 (IO-520 Continental) and I think I’ve put about 1000 hours on that plane and he’s kept it running like a sewing machine the entire time. I feel comfortable flying around with my wife and kids in the planes he has maintained for me.  Extremely competent mechanic.  I’ve been an a/c owner since 1986 and I’ve been through about 40 annuals with lots of different mechanics. Some good, some not so good.

Paul is in a different league. Very easy to work with, and a nice guy to boot. Highest recommendation.

Give me a call and let's discuss your airplane.

I have lots of experience over the years. My
favorite airplanes to work on are probably
Cessnas, Piper, Beechcraft, Stinson, and a
few others. I can do singles or twins.

Tell me what you have. I also have specialized
experience with the Yak 52, classic and vintage
aircraft, aircraft restoration, fabric recovering
and repair, and interior work. I can do small
paint touchups but I’m not setup to do
stripping and repaint.

I have lots of references.  Call me. If I can’t help
maybe I can steer you in the right direction. I’m
pretty busy Spring through Fall so please
schedule in advance.

Thanks for your interest.
